What Wristband is
Wristband is a marketplace connecting students who want to buy and sell tickets to events. We provide the platform — listings, messaging, and payment processing via Stripe — but we are not a party to the sale itself and don't issue, verify, or guarantee any ticket.
Eligibility
You must sign up with an approved university email address. Accounts found to be fraudulent, abusive, or in breach of these terms may be suspended or banned, with or without notice.
Listings and payments
- Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for actually owning/being able to transfer the ticket.
- Payment is processed through Stripe Connect and transferred to the seller (minus our platform fee) at the time of purchase — not held in escrow.
- We charge a small platform fee on each transaction, shown before you pay.
- Once a sale completes, resolving delivery of the actual ticket is between the buyer and seller — contact support if something goes wrong.
Prohibited conduct
No fraud, fake or duplicate listings, harassment, or attempts to move payment off-platform to avoid fees or buyer protection. We may remove listings, issue strikes, or ban accounts that violate this.
Reporting and moderation
You can report a listing or user in-app. We review reports and may act on them, including delisting tickets or suspending accounts, at our discretion.
Disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is". We don't guarantee entry to any event, the validity of any ticket, or that any listing is accurate. Buyers should exercise judgment before purchasing.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account.
