What this is
Wristband is a marketplace that lets students list and buy event tickets from each other. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Information we collect
- Account info: name, username, university email address.
- Ticket listings: event details, price, and a screenshot/PDF of the ticket you're selling.
- Messages and offers you send to other users through the app.
- Payment information: we don't see or store your card details — payments are processed by Stripe. We store the amount and status of each transaction.
- Device push-notification identifiers, if you enable notifications in the mobile app.
How we use it
To operate the marketplace: showing listings, connecting buyers and sellers, processing payments, sending you notifications about your offers/messages/purchases, and investigating reports of suspicious activity.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — processes payments and payouts (Stripe Connect). See Stripe's own privacy policy.
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.
- OneSignal — delivers push notifications, if enabled.
- Other users only see what you choose to show on a listing or send in chat.
We don't sell your data.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account. This removes your ability to log in and anonymizes your profile; some transaction records are kept where needed for fraud prevention, disputes, or tax/accounting purposes. Contact
